Quality Assurance Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead development of test automation frameworks focused on reliability, maintainability, and speed.
• Create reusable test libraries and components for different product areas.
• Lead technical implementation of performance testing and monitoring solutions.
• Develop custom reporting and analytics tools for test coverage and quality metrics.
• Drive adoption of visual testing, accessibility testing, security testing, and AI-assisted testing.
• Mentor QA engineers on automation best practices and framework usage.
• Optimize test execution pipelines for faster feedback in CI/CD environments.
• Implement test data management and synthetic data generation solutions.
• Partner with development teams on shift-left testing practices.
• Lead root cause analysis for critical issues and drive systematic improvements.
• Participate in code reviews to address testability and quality considerations early.

Requirements

• 6–9 years of software testing experience, with a strong focus on automation.
• Expert-level programming skills in Python or Java.
• Deep understanding of testing framework architecture, including page objects, custom assertions, and reporting integrations.
• Strong experience with modern testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress, and API testing frameworks.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and working with containers.
• Strong working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud.
• Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
• Proven track record of building tools and frameworks used by engineering teams.
• Understanding of automation testing patterns and anti-patterns.

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid role requiring four days per week in the Bangalore office.
