People Operations Generalist
Own people operations and workplace support for Exa’s growing Singapore office, including onboarding, benefits, work permits, facilities, vendors, and employee data. The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, familiarity with Singapore employment requirements, strong organization, discretion, and a service-oriented approach.

Responsibilities
- Run onboarding for every new Singapore hire, from offer through first day.
- Help relocating employees get oriented on housing, neighborhoods, and living and working in Singapore.
- Coordinate with the global payroll provider and employment counsel to support work permits.
- Own benefits administration for the Singapore team, including health insurance coordination and employee questions.
- Manage office logistics, facilities, vendors, and workplace expansion.
- Keep people data accurate and organized.
- Support accounting and compliance partners with accurate expense management.
- Serve as the first point of contact for benefits, visas, office logistics, and other employee questions.
- Build runbooks and systems for scalable operations.
- Help organize company events, offsites, and team activities.
- Improve the employee experience and operational processes.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in people operations, HR, office management, or startup operations.
- Familiarity with Singapore employment practices and MOM requirements.
- Exceptional organization and ability to manage multiple vendors, timelines, and details.
- Strong written communication and a warm, reliable employee-facing approach.
- Discretion with sensitive information and sound judgment.
- Bias toward action and ability to work independently in a fast-growing environment.
- Strong ownership mentality.
