Partner Development Manager, Strategic Partnerships
Develops and scales strategic partnerships across payments, fintech, platforms, and related verticals. The role requires 10+ years of partnerships experience, strong commercial negotiation and business development expertise, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across product and go-to-market teams.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and develop business cases supporting product and engineering investment in new strategic partnerships across verticals such as AI, platforms, and payment methods.
- Manage strategic planning, negotiation, and new partnership development.
- Lead structured, methodical deal management rooted in milestones, KPIs, and alignment with partners on mutually beneficial opportunities.
- Navigate relationships with major partners, collaborating with product, operations, marketing, and sales teams to execute deals supporting company strategy.
- Develop and grow relationships with partners, including senior executives and leadership.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market Partnerships, Product Marketing, and Operations teams to design and implement strategies and processes that scale partnerships and increase team velocity.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of partnerships experience, including 5+ years of business development experience establishing partnerships with financial institutions, fintech companies, payment methods, or equivalent strategic, complex partners.
- Ability to operate with autonomy and responsibility in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders across functions.
- Technical acumen and ability to understand a product portfolio and strategy, define requirements with partners, and evaluate partnership opportunities.
- 5+ years of experience defining and executing partnership strategies to build innovative product experiences.
- 5+ years of experience negotiating commercial deals with leading financial and technology institutions, including scaling deals across multiple partners.
- Interest in and intellectual curiosity about payments, economic infrastructure, and partners.
