Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a team of engineers building Datadog's Infrastructure as Code and Secrets security products.
- Own the team's roadmap, staffing, and delivery, partnering closely with Product Management and User Experience.
- Contribute to code reviews, weigh in on design decisions, and participate in the on-call rotation.
- Integrate AI into engineering workflows, including agentic coding tools.
- Coach engineers at every level, providing direct feedback and helping them grow their scope and careers.
- Keep projects and programs organized as priorities shift.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience managing software engineers, with a track record of shipping through a team.
- Strong technical background for roadmap and design discussions.
- Comfortable reviewing code and unblocking technical decisions alongside the team.
- Experience integrating AI agents into software delivery.
- Strong project and program organization skills.
Nice to Have
- Background in security, ideally with depth in code security.
- Experience in customer-facing conversations.
