Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Growth Marketing strategies tailored to Japan’s local culture, preferences, consumer trends, digital behaviors, and market conditions.
- Build strong relationships with regional, global, Japan Business, and Marketing teams while establishing effective operating rhythms and ways of working.
- Partner with Regional Marketing, Engineering, Product, Data Science, and Creative teams to align priorities, shape product roadmaps, and lead Growth Marketing initiatives from planning through execution.
- Set strategic vision, define KPIs, and support the hands-on execution and optimization of in-market growth campaigns.
- Represent Growth Marketing in regional leadership reviews by providing actionable insights, clear reporting, and recommendations.
- Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities and discover new areas of market growth.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant Growth Marketing experience across Search, CRM, Display, and Affiliate channels.
- Proven track record of scaling B2C brands, ideally in fast-paced, global environments.
- Deep understanding of the Japan market and experience working with local agencies and platforms.
- Strong analytical and strategic decision-making skills, including data-driven opportunity prioritization and business-impact measurement.
- Experience influencing product discussions and collaborating with Engineering, Design, Creative, and Data Science teams.
- Experience working with global channel owners.
- Excellent project management, organization, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Track record of delivering ambitious goals through innovation, iteration, and hands-on execution.
- Familiarity with marketing automation, analytics tools, and digital platforms, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
