Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of carrier relations specialists across LATAM.
- Partner with Sales and Product teams to analyze market trends, understand customer demand, and develop country-specific supply strategies.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with regional and local carriers and suppliers.
- Negotiate cost-effective solutions, expand coverage, and optimize service delivery.
- Monitor local telecommunications regulations and policy changes to adapt supply strategy and maintain compliance.
- Define and monitor localized KPIs for supplier performance, route quality, and cost efficiency.
- Serve as an escalation point for regional carrier and supplier service issues.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in the telecommunications services industry.
- 5+ years in a leadership role managing carrier relations.
- Deep expertise in LATAM telecommunications markets, carrier ecosystems, and regional regulatory environments.
- Experience collaborating with Sales and go-to-market teams to align supply strategy with revenue demand.
- Strong negotiation, influence, and communication skills in complex, multi-country environments.
- Data-driven and analytical approach to decision-making and route optimization.
- Fluency in Spanish, English, and Portuguese.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Familiarity with SS7, ISUP, MAP, and SIP.
Travel
- Approximately 30% travel anticipated.
