About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build high-throughput AI orchestration services and pipelines to process massive volumes of signals (lead data, email engagement, deliverability metrics, behavioral patterns) and enable fast, reliable autonomous decisions.
  • Design and own platform infrastructure replacing sales stack: email infrastructure, CRM, lead database, campaign engine, inbox management, and AI coordination.
  • Take high ownership end-to-end: design, build, deploy, monitor systems.
  • Ship and iterate very fast in a flat engineering org.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of backend experience, ideally at high-growth startup owning systems end-to-end.
  • 5x engineer leveraging Claude Code effectively.
  • Strong experience building/operating data-intensive services at scale.
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems, database performance, API design.
  • Comfortable with cloud-native infrastructure: containers, orchestration, CI/CD, monitoring.
  • Strong opinions on reliability, observability, testing with judgment to move fast.
  • Clear communicator explaining systems to engineers and product leaders.
  • TypeScript/Node preferred; Python, Go or similar fine.
