About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop containerized (micro)services for a distributed multi-tenant system that processes data, real-time events, and network telemetry from multiple public clouds to provide insights, visibility, and security recommendations.
  • Design and architect the platform and subsystems, defend designs, and deliver implementations.
  • Mentor junior engineers, new-grads, and interns.
  • Own critical features and subsystems through the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements to deployment.
  • Own operational aspects of the system and code quality with early testing.
  • Partner with Product Management to set product goals.

Requirements

  • Experience: 12+ years building distributed & scalable software and systems.
  • Cloud: Extensively used AWS, Azure, or GCP at the API/programming level. Networking and security controls experience beneficial.
  • Platform: Kubernetes-based containerized platform experience desired.
  • Languages/Tools: Go, SQL, REST API clients. Unix/Linux programming environment. General TCP/IP networking knowledge.
