About the role

Responsibilities

  • Work with 1-5 clients as the main technical voice for Databricks
  • Lead customers on a transformational journey to evaluate and adopt Databricks
  • Implement technical strategy aligned with account strategy
  • Build technical champions within accounts
  • Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions
  • Provide structured mentorship for team members

Requirements

  • 8+ years experience in very large (> $1m ARR) Retail and CPG-related accounts
  • 5+ years in pre-sales capacity or supporting sales activity
  • Technical expertise in big data, data science, and cloud
  • Ability to drive data-driven business transformation
  • 3+ years design and implementation experience in big data technologies such as Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP, and OLAP or full lifecycle data science solutions
  • Experience maintaining and extending production data systems
  • Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala, or Java
