About the role
Responsibilities
- Design editorial-quality web experiences that communicate Vanta’s brand, product, and vision.
- Own end-to-end design for high impact web pages: concept, art direction, responsive design, and developer handoff.
- Craft compelling data visualizations, infographics, and visual metaphors.
- Select and curate photography and illustrations; create visuals when needed.
- Contribute to Vanta’s web design system for consistency.
- Collaborate with developers, marketers, and stakeholders.
- Experiment with AI prototyping tools.
- Uphold standards for craft, typography, layout, and digital best practices.
- Balance brand expression with UX and business goals.
Requirements
- BFA in graphic design or similar field.
- 8+ years of experience in web, brand, or visual design, preferably at a fast-paced tech company.
- Portfolio showcasing brand storytelling through digital experiences, especially marketing websites.
- Expertise in data visualization and visual storytelling.
- Strong ability to work with and evolve brand systems (type, color, components, grids).
- Excellent understanding of responsive design, UX principles for marketing sites, and digital trends.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma; scalable, organized design files.
- Experience working with developers and web constraints.
- Working knowledge of AI ideation/prototyping tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Open to using AI responsibly.
