Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and own the web application that providers interact with every day.
• Tackle complex technical challenges across the full stack (strong emphasis on front end) to ensure systems are performant, intuitive, and support critical clinical workflows.
• Build high-performance React applications that transform complex healthcare data into clear, actionable user experiences for clinicians.
• Architect and maintain robust Node.js backend services and APIs that power the frontend, balancing data transformation needs with API design best practices.
• Ensure data compliance and security at the application layer, including handling protected health information (PHI) and adherence to HIPAA requirements.
• Collaborate closely with design team and product leadership to translate user needs into elegant, functional features.
• Own technical projects from discovery to delivery with autonomy, ensuring solutions align with user experience goals and business objectives.
• Drive improvements in application performance, observability, and reliability across distributed infrastructure.
• Mentor and upskill fellow engineers, fostering technical best practices and collaborative growth.

What You’ll Bring

Must-haves:

• 8+ years of professional experience in full-stack software engineering with primary focus on frontend development and strong command of modern web application architecture.
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript, with proven track record of shipping production applications.
• Experience working in Node.js for backend services, designing and building APIs that support frontend needs and understand data flow across the stack.
• Hands-on experience working with relational databases and AWS.
• Deep understanding of modern frontend architecture principles, user experience considerations, and full lifecycle of web application development.
• Demonstrated history of building applications that prioritize user experience, accessibility, and data security—particularly handling sensitive information.
• History of mentorship and driving technical best practices within a team.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience in healthcare technology or highly regulated industry, particularly with HIPAA or similar compliance.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, including Python and Terraform.
• Familiarity with healthcare workflows, clinical terminology, or healthcare software adoption.
• Exposure to design systems and close collaboration with design teams.

What We Offer

• Base Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000 per year.
