About the role

Requirements

  • 8+ years of pre-sales experience with enterprise software and technical aptitude
  • Working knowledge and ability to code with modern scripting languages (e.g. Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or programming languages (e.g. C/C++, Java, C#)
  • Experience with scalable and highly available distributed systems
  • 2+ years of software development experience
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Professional proficiency in Portuguese and English; Spanish highly preferred

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience selling databases and/or deploying applications with major cloud providers
  • Experience with database programming and data modelling
  • Knowledge of modern technologies (e.g. Spark, cloud storage/streaming, API management, Kafka, serverless)
  • Cloud provider certification
  • MongoDB Certification

Responsibilities

  • Work with advisory consulting partners on reference architectures, patterns, and AI blueprints for MongoDB
  • Articulate business and technical value of MongoDB solutions
  • Partner with account teams for technical discovery, demos, proof of value, presentations, sizing, and documentation
  • Translate technical concepts into business benefits
  • Act as liaison gathering field feedback for Product Management
  • Build and maintain relationships with technical partners, drive partner demand and Center of Excellence strategies
  • Build joint proposals with partners and demonstrate technical expertise through mentorship
