Sales Development Representative, Outbound
Outbound SDR responsible for high-volume prospecting, qualifying leads, and booking meetings for Account Executives in the construction industry. No prior experience required.
What You’ll Do
- Drive net-new pipeline through high-volume outbound prospecting — 80–100 dials a day across cold calls, personalized emails, and LinkedIn outreach
- Research target accounts and key personas across the construction industry to craft relevant, tailored messaging that breaks into hard-to-reach accounts
- Communicate Miter’s value proposition and business impact, qualifying prospects and booking ~5 direct SALs per month for your aligned Account Executive
- Own the nurture of every prospect all the way through to a completed discovery call and a clean handoff to your AE
- Own your activity and pipeline metrics in Salesforce, and help build a repeatable playbook by testing and refining messaging, cadences, and scripts as we grow the team
What You’ll Need
- No prior experience required — prior SDR work, cold calling, or outbound prospecting is a plus, along with athletic, competitive, or leadership experience
- Strong written and verbal communication, with the confidence to pick up the phone and make a strong first impression with cold prospects
- Grit, resilience, and a strong work ethic — you bounce back quickly from a “no” and bring consistent energy every day
- A natural relationship builder who partners closely with AEs, asks sharp questions, and gets creative about breaking into target accounts
- Self-motivated and coachable, with a genuine desire to build a long-term career in Sales
