About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first line of support for all employees via the ticketing system, triaging incoming questions and providing clear and empathetic answers across a wide range of topics
- Own operations for key milestones across the employee lifecycle: coordinate onboarding/pre-boarding, process role and organizational changes, guide employees through offboarding
- Ensure HRIS and related systems are always up to date and reliable sources of truth
- Own the immigration program: guide managers and employees through transfers, renewals, and paths to permanent residency; partner with external Immigration Counsel to ensure submissions are accurate, comprehensive, and timely
- Champion compliance: maintain required documentation and partner with Employment Counsel to manage all filings
- Identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and drive changes to help scale
- Support key programs including benefits and leave administration, performance review cycles
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in People Operations, HR Shared Services, or an HR Generalist role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Hands-on experience answering employee questions in a ticketing system and managing core workflows in an HRIS
- Experience managing core employment compliance tasks (e.g., I-9 audits)
- Experience coordinating visa documentation in partnership with immigration counsel
- Experience writing, updating, or maintaining internal HR documentation / FAQs
- Authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship for this role)
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience setting up and running performance review cycles
- Experience handling standard benefits administration, data updates, and foundational understanding of administrative steps for leaves of absence and accommodations (FMLA, ADA)
- Familiarity with Ascensus, Cocoon, Greenhouse, Lattice, Pave, Rippling, Vanguard
- Familiarity with project management frameworks or tools like Jira and Monday
- Enthusiasm for building AI agents with models like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or applications like Glean

- Expected hourly rate: $45.20 - $57.70 ($94,000 - $120,000 annualized)
