About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary people partner for Farther's Client Experience org, providing hands-on support for employee relations, coaching, and conflict resolution
  • Build and own a manager training and development program focused on elevating entry-level and developing managers within the CX team
  • Be the in-person HR resource in our Irving, TX office — someone employees and managers can walk up to with real questions and concerns
  • Partner with CX leadership (including leaders overseeing advisor experience, client transitions, and client experience) on people strategy, headcount planning, and organizational development
  • Support performance management processes including goal-setting, reviews, and performance improvement in partnership with the Head of People
  • Help drive engagement and culture initiatives, with a lens toward how our CX team shows up for each other and for the business
  • Collaborate with the broader People team on companywide programs, sharing learnings and best practices from the CX org

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of HR experience with meaningful time in a generalist or HRBP role supporting a specific business unit or client group
  • Strong employee relations chops — you're comfortable handling complex, sensitive situations with professionalism and sound judgment
  • Experience building or delivering manager training programs, especially for first-time or developing managers
  • High EQ and a communication style that earns trust quickly across all levels of an organization
  • Comfortable being the only HR person in the room (and in the office) — you operate independently and know when to escalate

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience supporting a CX, client services, or operations team in a high-growth environment
  • Familiarity with the financial services or wealth management industry — or curiosity about it
  • Experience with Rippling, Lattice, or similar HRIS/performance management platforms
  • Background in learning and development, facilitation, or instructional design
