Finance and Equity Analyst - Rotational Program
Rotational 12-month analyst program supporting private market operations through automation, AI tools, scripting, and client-facing work on valuations, tax reporting, and fund implementations. Requires bachelor's in finance-related field and interest in AI/automation.
Responsibilities
- Use AI tools, scripting, and CLI-based workflows to complete tasks and automate real financial processes
- Support customers through deliverable and client-facing work on 409A valuations, tax reporting, fund implementations, and portfolio data collection
- Identify inefficiencies in workflows and turn them into repeatable, scalable systems
- Provide feedback to engineering and product through testing, bug reporting, and process insights
- Become an expert in private markets, AI tools, and Carta's ERP vision
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related fields (or equivalent experience)
- Strong interest in AI and automation
- Bias for action and ownership
- Knowledge of financial statements and common financial concepts
- Experience managing multiple projects and adapting to shifting priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with diplomacy and poise under pressure
- Curious, competitive mindset
Nice to Have
- Exposure to financial concepts through coursework, internships, or personal interest
- Experience with Python, scripting, or basic technical tooling
- Familiarity with financial modeling in Excel
- Experience using AI tools (Claude, Gemini, etc.) thoughtfully in your work
Compensation
$71,250 - $76,000 in Seattle, WA (Hourly rate of $34.25 - $36.54, annualized based on 40 hours/week)
