Analyst, Financial Benefits - Retirement
Analyst executing day-to-day retirement benefits operations, conducting audits, managing data feeds, resolving issues with engineering, and analyzing benefits data using SQL and Excel. Requires 3+ years experience and 401(k) knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day operations for Justworks Benefits, including recurring daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly audits of system and partner data
- Oversee daily incoming and outgoing file feeds to ensure timely data sharing
- Collaborate with team leads to triage system bug investigations and own end-to-end remediation with engineering
- Communicate with partners to relay issues and audit findings
- Maintain partner and internal SLAs
- Assist with completing regular billing and invoicing of contributions for Benefit Partners
- Work with internal stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance) and external Benefit Partners to resolve escalated issues
- Gather and analyze customer benefits data using SQL, Excel, and proprietary systems
- Identify and resolve errors and pain points in benefits operations using creative technical solutions
- Assist with executing regular filings and regulatory duties
- Work cross-functionally to ensure systems and procedures are updated
- Track, analyze, and report on regular KPIs
- Create operational tools and dashboards as needed
- QA member data as needed
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to improve systems and resolve issues
- Assist in coordinating system implementation of new benefits features
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- SQL knowledge required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Extremely detail-oriented with great time management skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
- Experience working cross-functionally
- Strong analytical and data management skills
- Strong execution skills
- Knowledge of Employer Sponsored Benefit Plans + 401(k) required
Nice-to-Haves
- Tableau, Jira, Excel, and Confluence experience preferred
- Retirement certifications (RPF, QKA, etc) strongly preferred
