About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve Phantom’s brand creative design strategy, ensuring it differentiates the company in the crypto and consumer finance space.
  • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of brand designers, fostering creativity, collaboration, and professional development.
  • Oversee the creative development and production of campaigns, product launches, brand activations, and content across digital, social, and offline channels.
  • Build and enforce brand guidelines, ensuring visual and verbal alignment across product, marketing, and communications.
  • Partner with marketing, product, comms, and leadership to align brand creative with business objectives and user insights.
  • Bring forward fresh ideas, cultural relevance, and breakthrough creative that builds trust while making crypto approachable to a mainstream audience.
  • Use feedback, insights, and performance data to refine creative strategies and deliver impact at scale.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in brand design leadership (bonus if in consumer finance, fintech, crypto or consumer tech).
  • Visionary creative thinker with a strong portfolio demonstrating brand-building, campaign execution, and cross-channel design.
  • Proven experience managing and scaling high-performing creative teams.
  • Expertise across design disciplines such as visual, brand and motion.
  • Strong grasp of cultural trends, with the ability to translate them into brand-relevant creative.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to inspire both team and executive stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities.

Target base salary: $270,000 - $320,000 + equity and benefits.
