Responsibilities
- Collaborate with prospects to determine whether their applications fit Temporal’s platform.
- Educate customers and prospects on the technical benefits and limitations of Temporal’s platform and cloud service.
- Position Temporal against competing technologies and architectural patterns.
- Drive adoption and expansion of Temporal in customer production environments.
- Partner with Account Executives to develop and execute account plans.
- Manage relationships with technical decision-makers and help customers fully leverage Temporal.
- Advise Sales Account Executives on opportunity scoping, sizing, technical fit, and challenges.
Requirements
- Reside within the Western Time Zone; San Francisco and Denver are preferred.
- Exceptional technical communication skills, including presenting, whiteboarding, and technical writing.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, design principles, and best practices.
- Proficiency building application prototypes and providing design, development, build, and deployment guidance with one or more supported languages: Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C#, or PHP.
- Strong understanding of production operational considerations, including security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operations.
- Ability to advise on application patterns and platform architectures.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider and commonly used application development and production services.
