Responsibilities
- Define and execute a multi-quarter security roadmap for the engineering organization.
- Develop and maintain platform-level security tools that provide automated, self-service security for feature teams.
- Partner with Core Tech to integrate security controls into standard CI/CD and cloud deployment workflows.
- Assess security posture across teams and identify high-risk technical debt.
- Mentor engineers and foster a culture of integrated security within a “you build it, you run it” model.
- Monitor evolving threats, including software supply-chain risks and large-scale AI infrastructure risks.
- Own and mature detection, SIEM, and incident-response tooling.
- Collaborate with IT on AI-usage risks, including data exposure through connectors and agents and prompt injection.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture and modern security practices.
- Strong AWS experience.
- Experience designing self-service platforms that developers adopt.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex security concerns into actionable decisions.
- High proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
- Familiarity with agent-based and AI-assisted development tools.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on technical execution.
- Pragmatic approach to technical debt and security tradeoffs.
- Collaborative leadership and mentoring skills.
Compensation and Benefits
