Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver large-scale, highly available, scalable, and secure platforms.
- Collaborate with engineers on system architecture, design, and infrastructure projects.
- Drive operational consistency across site reliability, cloud infrastructure, observability, and production operations.
- Mentor engineers through complex system designs and infrastructure delivery.
- Use AI tools and modern technologies to improve engineering workflows.
Requirements
- Experience leading or playing a key role in architecting and delivering large-scale platforms or applications.
- Strong platform engineering background.
- Experience designing complex systems with AWS primitives.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform or OpenTofu.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Collaborative approach and ability to mentor and develop other engineers.
- Comfort using AI to improve workflows and adopting new technologies.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in site reliability and operational excellence.
Compensation
- Base salary range: £66,000–£111,000 GBP annually.
- Eligible for a long-term incentive award; bonuses may be awarded based on individual and company performance.
