Software Engineer, Treasury
Build and maintain reliable backend services for ledger operations, ACH and wire flows, and reconciliation within Lithic’s Treasury team. The role requires production software experience, distributed-systems design skills, Python experience or willingness to learn, and ownership of cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Ensure high reliability and correctness for the ledger and orchestrated funds flows.
- Develop features that better serve customers.
- Deliver reliable, secure, and scalable code while minimizing technical debt.
- Own initiatives from planning through launch, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned.
- Improve team systems and processes.
- Participate in the team on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Experience shipping software in production and leading projects.
- Strong distributed-systems instincts and design skills.
- Experience with, or desire to learn, Python.
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects while contributing as a strong individual contributor.
- Growth mindset and continuous desire to learn and improve.
- Ability to turn requirements into working software quickly.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment.

Compensation and benefits
- Annual Canadian salary range: CA$158,000–CA$254,000, plus equity.
- Remote position for candidates located in the United States, Canada (Ontario and British Columbia), Netherlands, Poland, or Czech Republic.
