Responsibilities
- Build and manage a $3M+ pipeline of qualified enterprise opportunities through disciplined prospecting, referrals, events, and strategic outreach.
- Run multi-threaded deals spanning Chief Sustainability Officers, CFOs, procurement, and legal — navigating complex buying committees.
- Lead deep discovery conversations uncovering strategic pressures, organizational dynamics, and commitment gaps.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to accounts, bringing market intelligence.
- Partner with Supply, Climate, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to shape delivery, GTM, and product roadmap.
- Represent Patch at industry events like Climate Week NYC, GreenBiz.
- Work in AI-native sales environment: Salesforce, Gong, Dust AI, Asana, Slack.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience with 100%+ quota attainment.
- Experience running complex, multi-stakeholder deals with 1,000+ employee companies (procurement, legal, C-suite).
- Built pipeline from scratch (prospecting, not just inbound).
- Sold new or emerging category, helping buyers develop conviction.
- Genuine interest in sustainability and environmental markets.
- Earn trust with CSO and CFO simultaneously.
- Constant learner of new tools, growing technical capabilities across AI.
Nice-to-Haves
- Background in environmental commodities, ESG reporting software, energy, sustainability consulting, or climate finance.
- Experience at Series A–D company shaping GTM motion.
- Familiarity with voluntary environmental market standards or frameworks (TCFD, CDP, SBTi).
