Principal Product Manager
Leads the end-to-end acquisition and conversion strategy for Chime’s lending portfolio, spanning loans, credit cards, and lines of credit. Requires 11+ years of consumer product leadership and proven top-of-funnel lending experience with measurable growth, conversion, and CAC results.

Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end strategy and roadmap for lending top-of-funnel experiences across loans, credit cards, lines of credit, and future credit products.
- Lead company-scale cross-functional initiatives, including new registration flows into Chime.
- Grow the acquisition funnel from zero to one and improve conversion at scale.
- Partner with Product Marketing on channel optimization, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and efficient acquisition.
- Build member experiences that drive conversion to Chime as a primary bank.
- Drive product decisions throughout the product lifecycle with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Risk, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, and Finance.
- Make prioritization decisions, align teams around product vision and measurable outcomes, and ensure execution from strategy through launch.
- Use customer insights, experimentation, and data to improve member experience and business profitability.
- Provide product leadership by creating clarity, setting direction, and driving exceptional execution.
Requirements
- 11+ years of experience leading consumer product strategy and execution for high-impact digital products from concept through scale.
- Direct experience growing the top of funnel for lending products such as loans, credit cards, or lines of credit at a major consumer business, with measurable results in application volume, conversion, and CAC.
- Proven ownership of complex product areas with measurable business outcomes, ideally involving growth, monetization, or financial products.
- Experience working with credit bureaus, affiliates, acquisition marketplaces, and Product Marketing on channel strategy.
- Experience building or managing complex consumer financial platforms, high-scale fintech products, or mission-critical decisioning systems.
- Experience making strategic product decisions in highly cross-functional environments involving Engineering, Design, Analytics, Risk, and business partners.
- Strong product intuition supported by data, effective prioritization, and thoughtful tradeoff management.
- Experience simplifying complex customer problems and delivering excellent user experiences.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including influence with executive audiences.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $255,000–$290,000 annually.
