Leads the multi-year product vision, architecture, vendor strategy, and economics for Crusoe’s AI networking foundation. Requires 8+ years of technical product management or infrastructure engineering experience, deep networking expertise, and hands-on experience with RDMA and GPU cluster networking.

Responsibilities
- Define the 2–4 year vision and roadmap for Crusoe’s networking foundation, from fleet-wide architecture through fabric design.
- Own long-term network vendor-management strategy, cost structure, and capital allocation.
- Set performance, reliability, scalability, and cost targets, including cost per GPU and server.
- Own cross-data-center and multi-site connectivity strategy, network topology, and failure-domain design.
- Drive NIC, DPU, switch, and networking technology strategy, including evaluation of hardware generations and vendors.
- Identify architectural limitations and prioritize investments to resolve them.
- Partner with Infrastructure Engineering and Architecture on technical tradeoffs, product requirements, and business rationale for foundational investments.
- Represent networking foundations in leadership reviews and translate architecture and vendor tradeoffs into decision documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of technical product management experience or product-focused infrastructure engineering experience, with ownership of architecture-level outcomes at Principal or equivalent scope.
- Subject-matter expertise in networking and credibility with senior infrastructure engineers and architects.
- Experience with fleet-wide network architecture, topology design, and failure-domain strategy at scale.
- Experience managing long-term vendor strategy and evaluating in-house software engineering investment for core networking infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure economics at scale, including cost per unit and capacity planning.
- Analytical approach to multi-year infrastructure decisions.
- Exceptional communication skills for explaining technical tradeoffs to engineering leaders and executives.
- Direct experience with RDMA fabrics such as InfiniBand or RoCE and GPU cluster networking for AI training or inference.
Nice-to-Haves
- Data center network design experience, including cross-data-center and multi-site connectivity.
- Familiarity with networking silicon, NIC, and switch vendors serving AI infrastructure.
- Experience managing or mentoring product managers.

- Compensation range of $285,000–$335,000 plus bonus.
