Responsibilities
- Own product and operational analytics across the platform, including retention, cohort behavior, funnel performance, and engagement.
- Define and maintain core company metrics and ensure consistent interpretation across teams.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to instrument features and measure their effectiveness.
- Develop analyses for open-ended operational questions.
- Translate findings into clear recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership.
- Investigate data anomalies and drive issues to root cause.
- Build and maintain dashboards, models, and data hygiene practices that make analysis repeatable.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data science or analytics, ideally in a product-driven environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with strong analytical and logical reasoning.
- Depth in product or operational analytics, including retention, cohort, funnel, and engagement analysis.
- Strong SQL and fluency in Python or R.
- Ability to define analyses for ambiguous questions and solve problems independently.
- Excellent communication and analytical storytelling skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience in healthcare, digital health, or another regulated data environment.
- Experience building analytics infrastructure from an early stage.
