Responsibilities
- Contribute readable, well-tested code to ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with product and design partners to implement and iterate on customer-facing features.
- Write scope and technical specification documents for new projects.
- Lead small working groups of two or three engineers.
- Participate actively and constructively in code and document reviews.
- Help product management identify improvements for owned features and drive them to completion.
- Triage incoming support requests and alerts for owned products.
- Participate in the group-wide on-call rotation once onboarded.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software engineering experience.
- Fluency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Experience with a modern framework such as React.
- Experience writing database queries, either document-based or relational.
- Experience writing and reviewing technical specifications.
- Experience leading small projects.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in Java, Go, C++, C, or a similar compiled language.
- Interest in A/B testing or product design.
