Enterprise Account Executive, Growth
This role drives enterprise sales growth across Indian state-government accounts, managing relationships, tenders, complex sales cycles, and partner collaboration. Candidates need 10+ years of quota-carrying public-sector sales experience and a technical bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals in the public sector, with a focus on state government.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with senior government officials, consultants, global systems integrators, and partners.
- Identify new opportunities, generate leads, acquire government clients, and expand existing accounts.
- Monitor and respond to government tenders, RFPs, and RFQs, coordinating timely and accurate proposal submissions.
- Work with government departments to position MongoDB in technology-stack tenders.
- Lead the sales cycle from lead generation and qualification through contract negotiation and close.
- Set targets, monitor performance metrics, analyze market trends, and report activities and forecasts to senior management.
- Collaborate with solution architects and delivery teams from contract award through delivery.
- Participate in sales enablement, sales training, leadership, and development programs.
Requirements
- BE, BTech, BCA, or BS in Computer Science required.
- 10+ years of quota-carrying field sales experience in the public sector, focused on new business.
- Ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology to public-sector accounts.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.
- Experience building business champions within government accounts and managing complex sales processes across government ministries and departments.
- Strong time and resource management skills, with a disciplined approach to opportunity qualification.
- Ability to learn quickly, establish credibility, and demonstrate high emotional intelligence and self-awareness.
Nice-to-haves
- Training in sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger Sales.
- Familiarity with databases, DevOps, and open-source technology.
