Canada Public Sector Account Executive
Drives enterprise sales and AI adoption across the Canadian public sector, primarily serving the Government of Canada. Responsibilities
- Drive new business and revenue growth across the Canadian public sector, owning the full sales cycle from outreach through deployment.
- Navigate Government of Canada procurement and security processes for cloud and AI services.
- Build relationships with government decision-makers, including CIOs, CDOs, senior executives, procurement stakeholders, and mission owners.
- Develop strategic account plans aligned with government mandates and modernization initiatives.
- Navigate Canadian security, compliance, data-residency, authorization, and personnel-clearance requirements.
- Coordinate with cloud service providers and system integrators on deployment and integration.
- Represent the company at public-sector and partner events.
- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to product teams.
- Create Canadian public-sector sales playbooks and manage territory, pipeline, and account planning.
- Collaborate across teams and engage bilingually in English and French when required.
Requirements
- 7+ years of enterprise sales experience in the Canadian public sector, primarily with the Government of Canada.
- Deep understanding of federal mandates, challenges, technology needs, and public-sector buyers.
- Experience leading strategic accounts and executing hands-on sales.
- Familiarity with Government of Canada procurement and cloud/AI security processes.
- Track record of exceeding revenue targets and closing complex public-sector deals.
- Ability to be based in the National Capital Region and travel across Canada.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain Government of Canada personnel security clearance.
- Executive presence and relationship-building skills.
- Experience coordinating cloud providers and system integrators.
- Professional working proficiency in French.
- Strategic thinking, executional attention to detail, and interest in safe, ethical AI.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual on-target earnings compensation range: $420,000–$495,000 CAD, including base salary and target commissions or bonuses.
- Visa sponsorship may be available.
- Hybrid policy: staff are generally expected to work from an office at least 25% of the time.
