Electrical Engineer
Design and bring consumer electronic products from prototype through mass production, covering mixed-signal circuitry, PCB design, testing, and reliability. The role is intended for a new graduate with a BSEE or equivalent and requires on-site work in San Francisco.

Responsibilities
- Design consumer electronic devices incorporating microcontrollers, SoCs, wireless transceivers, motor drivers, sensors, audio drivers, and LED drivers.
- Prototype new concepts to assess feasibility, including Arduino-based prototypes.
- Support designs through schematic capture, PCB layout, bring-up, characterization, production test coverage, and reliability testing.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineering, embedded software, industrial design, manufacturing, and product teams.
- Define testing requirements, fixtures, and equipment to qualify components and assemblies for mass production.
- Travel to Asia as needed.
Requirements
- Experience with mixed analog and digital design and layout.
- Familiarity with ECAD packages such as Altium or OrCAD.
- Knowledge of SMT and flex PCB manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of design of experiments (DOE), root-cause analysis, statistical analysis, and quality measurement techniques.
- BSEE or equivalent.
