Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the CRM and sales tooling product strategy and roadmap across the B2B sales organization.
- Define how Salesforce and other sales platforms support different sales motions and customer segments.
- Prioritize competing stakeholder needs using data-informed trade-offs and available delivery capacity.
- Assess incoming CRM needs, identify underlying product, process, integration, or data issues, and translate requests into scoped work.
- Establish scalable intake and prioritization processes for CRM enhancements and support.
- Drive coherence across CRM and sales platforms, including ownership of records, workflows, integrations, and data.
- Partner with sales leaders and end users on lead management, account management, pipeline progression, forecasting, and customer data quality.
- Translate business needs into product requirements, user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Partner with Engineering on CRM integrations, ownership boundaries, and escalation paths.
- Facilitate trade-off discussions and maintain alignment across Sales, Engineering, Operations, and leadership.
- Scope Salesforce solutions using knowledge of objects, fields, record types, flows, assignment rules, permissions, and declarative configuration.
- Improve CRM adoption, data quality, workflow consistency, and sales productivity.
- Define and measure a high-performing CRM ecosystem using qualitative and quantitative insights.
- Support consolidation of the sales technology ecosystem and reduction of fragmented processes and data silos.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or similar role delivering technology, tooling, or workflow improvements for Sales, Revenue, or go-to-market organizations.
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud as a product owner, power user, administrator, or admin-adjacent Product Manager.
- Experience owning a product roadmap and prioritizing competing requests across stakeholder groups, teams, or business units.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business requests into scoped, actionable, and estimable technical requirements.
- Strong product requirements and specification writing skills, including business context, user needs, expected outcomes, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience partnering with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including Engineering, Sales leadership, business operations, and end users.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, including pipeline stages, lead routing, service-level expectations, account management, and forecasting.
- Ability to determine whether issues require product functionality, system configuration, integration changes, process improvements, or data remediation.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with CRM environments integrated with upstream or downstream systems of record.
- Experience supporting or rationalizing multiple CRM or sales platforms.
- Salesforce Administrator certification or equivalent hands-on Salesforce experience.
- Experience with Attio, Outreach, Front, or similar sales and customer engagement platforms.
- Familiarity with Salesforce marketing automation and lead-generation workflows, including MCAE/Pardot.
- Experience in fintech, financial services, payments, crypto, or digital assets.
- Experience with complex B2B or institutional sales organizations supporting multiple customer segments or sales motions.
