Software Engineer, Product
Build full-stack, backend, or frontend features for Pave's compensation management platform. Requires 2+ years engineering experience (ideally TypeScript/Node.js and data-intensive apps), strong product instincts, comfort with ambiguity, and a bias toward shipping.
About the job
What You'll Bring
- 2+ years of full-stack, backend, or frontend engineering experience, ideally with modern web technologies such as TypeScript and Node.js, including experience building data-intensive applications.
- Solid product instincts: you think about the customer's problem first, and use that to guide your technical approach.
- Comfort working in ambiguity: you can take a rough problem statement and turn it into a shipped feature.
- A collaborative style: you work well with PMs, designers, and other engineers, and communicate clearly about tradeoffs.
- Execution-driven mindset: you bias toward shipping and iterating over long design cycles.
- Nice to have: experience at a B2B SaaS company, especially during a period of rapid growth.
