Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a UK events strategy aligned with brand and business goals.
- Ideate and oversee events in key international territories with regional leads.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen the brand, drive cultural conversation, and attract creators and subscribers.
- Manage the full UK event lifecycle, from concept and promotion through on-site coordination.
- Ensure events generate social and press coverage as part of the brand marketing strategy.
- Provide strategic guidance and operational support to partnership leads delivering market-specific events.
- Manage the UK events budget, measurement frameworks, and ROI tracking.
- Build international event processes and methodologies for demonstrating impact.
- Recruit and lead freelancers and contractors, and support international leads in sourcing talent.
- Design scalable events that can be replicated across strategic territories while retaining impact and authenticity.
- Collaborate with internal teams, agencies, and vendors to deliver high-impact experiences with operational and fiscal discipline.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in experiential event marketing and production.
- Significant managerial experience building and scaling event strategies with measurable business impact.
- Strategic vision combined with strong operational execution and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and storytelling skills.
- Deep network of creative, production, and experiential agencies and vendors.
- Strong relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Substack as a creator or subscriber.
- Entrepreneurial mindset suited to a startup environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel globally for on-site event execution.
Compensation
- Salary range: £75,000–£95,000, depending on experience and expertise.
- Compensation package includes salary, equity, and benefits.
