Supports Crusoe’s corporate finance team in developing capital strategy, executing debt and equity transactions, managing investor and banking relationships, and evaluating internal capital allocation. The role requires strong financial modeling, market analysis, and transaction execution skills.

Responsibilities

Capital Formation and Transaction Execution

  • Support the development and execution of the company’s capital strategy across debt facilities, equity investments, corporate credit lines, asset-backed securitizations, and private placements.
  • Support new debt and equity issuances by coordinating due diligence, managing legal documentation, and overseeing closing processes.
  • Build, maintain, and stress-test financial models to evaluate financing proposals, analyze pricing, and assess the effects of capital structures on the balance sheet and cost of capital.
  • Monitor global debt and equity capital markets, interest-rate environments, and peer financing activity.

Relationship Management and Investor Relations

  • Develop and maintain relationships with investment banks, institutional investors, credit rating agencies, and other financial partners.
  • Attend conferences and events to establish relationships within the capital markets.
  • Prepare pitch books, deal teasers, investor presentations, and other materials for external capital providers.
  • Assist senior management with term-sheet negotiations and structuring discussions.

Internal Capital Allocation and Treasury

  • Work with treasury and finance teams to manage capital flows and availability for new projects and business units.
  • Evaluate internal capital requests using a return-focused allocation framework.
  • Analyze short- and long-term cash-flow forecasts, monitor liquidity, and manage interest-rate and foreign-exchange risk exposures.
  • Create and distribute internal research for executive leadership and the Board of Directors covering market activity, peer financings and pricing, and precedent transactions.

Requirements and Preferred Qualifications

  • Analytical experience in financial structuring, capital markets, capital allocation, or corporate finance.
  • Experience with financial modeling and evaluating financing proposals.
  • Strong relationship-management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to coordinate transaction execution, due diligence, legal documentation, and closing activities.
  • Ability to analyze capital markets, liquidity, interest-rate risk, and foreign-exchange risk.
  • Ability to develop professional materials for investors and financing partners.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $130,000–$160,000 annual compensation plus bonus.
