About the role
What You'll Do
- Build beautiful, fast UIs using Next.js, Tailwind, and Framer Motion
- Create and optimize product pages and interactive playgrounds
- Maintain and scale our internal design system across all surfaces
- Own UX and polish across marketing, docs, and app interfaces
- Collaborate directly with founders to ship high-impact features
- Lead proof-of-concept work for new ideas and experiences
What We're Looking For
- A builder with a sharp eye and obsessive attention to motion, interaction, and polish
- Strong with Next.js, Tailwind, and Framer Motion (dangerous in at least two)
- Obsessed with developer experience (clarity, speed, zero friction)
- Ship live projects with real users
- Backgrounds: Design engineers at dev tools companies, frontend engineers with design instincts, designers who code
What We're NOT Looking For
- Pure designers who don't code
- Pixel-perfect mockups over shipped product
- Need for heavy structure or process
Compensation
Salary: $160,000–$240,000/year (U.S.-based, SF-adjusted) Equity: Up to 0.15% Benefits: Generous PTO, parental leave, wellness stipend, learning budget, medical/dental/vision (US), 401(k), etc.
