About the role

Responsibilities

  • Use AI to identify and implement operational improvements and efficiencies to build the future of Production Support
  • Investigate and resolve complex production issues that affect user experience
  • Interface with critical vendor systems using a mix of SQL and API calls to research customer complaints
  • Commit fixes to our backend systems
  • Act as an engineering consultant for our Operations team to automate manual processes

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of engineering experience with proficiency in at least one backend language (Node.js and Typescript used throughout stack)
  • Experience with SQL and REST APIs
  • Excellent written communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams

Preferred

  • Knowledge of payment systems (e.g. card processing, ACH)
  • Familiarity with AWS
  • Shell scripting experience with bash, zsh or similar
