Responsibilities
- Partner with HR Strategic Business Partners and senior leaders to identify and prioritize learning needs, conduct skills assessments, and recommend solutions for knowledge gaps and performance challenges.
- Build cross-functional relationships to understand business goals, prioritize work, and ensure content accuracy and quality.
- Design, develop, and maintain learning programs, including eLearning, virtual and instructor-led training, performance-support tools, and educational materials.
- Align curriculum projects with business goals and software release cycles.
- Apply instructional design principles and methodologies to create effective learning experiences.
- Develop storyboards, scripts, and related materials.
- Use educational technologies and tools to develop and deliver learning solutions.
- Manage instructional design projects through the full life cycle, delivering within scope, quality, and timelines.
- Lead larger projects involving multiple team members and stakeholders.
- Plan and execute custom off-sites, workshops, team-building activities, strategic-planning sessions, and leadership-development events.
- Monitor learning metrics related to quality, customer satisfaction, and impact.
- Coordinate updates to learning materials and improve course content and delivery techniques.
- Maintain knowledge of technology trends, industry standards, and best practices.
Requirements

- Advanced multitasking, prioritization, organizational, risk-management, project-planning, and project-management skills.
- Ability to analyze performance problems holistically, identify root causes, and recommend learning solutions.
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing multichannel solutions, including facilitator-led training, eLearning, virtual synchronous and asynchronous learning, role plays, simulations, games, videos, job aids, and blended learning.
- 10+ years of experience in adult learning, instructional design, and development of interactive blended learning solutions.
- University degree in Adult Learning, Instructional Technology, Educational Technologies, or a related field.

- CTDP or CPTD certification.
- Learning Guild membership or equivalent.
Compensation
- Annual salary: CAD 88,000–98,000.
