Builds and evolves frontend design systems, component libraries, and reusable patterns for complex data workflows using React, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS. Requires 10+ years experience, strong product sense, and technical leadership in production-grade UI systems.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the evolution of Seeq's frontend system, improving component quality, consistency, usability, and developer experience across the product.
  • Work closely with UX, Product, and Engineering teams to understand needs, set priorities, and craft reusable frontend foundations.
  • Shape foundational components, higher-order blocks, page-level templates, and reusable application patterns that support real user workflows.
  • Leverage open-source ecosystems like shadcn/ui, extending them to fit product standards and workflows.
  • Ensure excellent developer experience with components, patterns, APIs, structure, naming, and documentation.

What We're Looking For

  • Exceptional frontend engineer with strong product sense, visual taste, and systems thinking.
  • Experience creating, evolving, and shipping design systems or component libraries used in production applications.
  • Highly effective in React, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS; build composable, accessible, robust components.
  • Experience defining larger reusable blocks and application patterns.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; care about documentation and conventions.
  • Strong ownership and agency to identify gaps and drive improvements.

Requirements

  • Experience building or evolving component libraries, pattern libraries, or design systems for complex applications.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in software development.
  • Expert in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, TailwindCSS, and HTML primitives.
  • Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiar with agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
  • Proven technical leadership skills to guide, mentor, and collaborate.
  • Familiar with design tools like Figma.
  • Build responsive, scalable web experiences; partner with designers for visual consistency.
  • Implement accessibility standards (keyboard navigation, screen reader support, high-contrast, reduced-motion).
