What you’ll do
As a Group Product Manager, you'll own a product area that sits at the center of Brex's highest-priority bets, setting the multi-quarter vision, making hard prioritization calls, and ensuring your team delivers outcomes that move company-level metrics.
Leading strategy, identifying where AI and automation can meaningfully change the customer experience. Building teams and leading PMs who think clearly and operate independently. Driving alignment with Engineering, Design, Data, Risk, Legal, and GTM leaders.
Use AI tools aggressively in your own work: for discovery, analysis, prototyping, and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the multi-quarter vision and strategy for a core product area aligned to Brex’s highest company priorities. Identify and prioritize the highest-leverage opportunities that drive durable customer and business impact.
- Manage and develop a team of Product Managers, providing coaching, feedback, and career development. Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and GTM leaders to deliver complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience incorporating AI/ML capabilities (e.g., LLMs, automation systems, predictive models) into customer-facing or internal products, with a strong understanding of where AI meaningfully improves user experience, efficiency, or decision quality.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate product discovery, analysis, experimentation, and execution (e.g., rapid prototyping, customer insight synthesis, requirement drafting, data exploration).
- Establish strong planning, prioritization, and execution frameworks across your portfolio. Define success metrics tied to company-level outcomes and ensure your team delivers measurable results.
Requirements
- 7+ years in product management, with direct experience managing and developing PMs.
- Have owned and scaled complex product areas in B2B, SaaS, or fintech, including driving measurable business outcomes across a multi-team portfolio.
- Can set strategy across multiple product surfaces and translate it into roadmaps your team actually executes against.
- Technically fluent enough to engage in architecture and systems tradeoffs with Engineering, not just defer to them.
- Data-driven by default: you define the metrics, design the experiments, and use the results to make calls.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity, making prioritization tradeoffs with incomplete information, and bringing senior stakeholders along.
- Clear, concise communicator — written and verbal — who can distill complex product problems into narratives that land with executives and cross-functional partners alike.
Compensation
The expected salary range for this role is $280,000 - $350,000. However, the starting base pay will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
