Responsibilities
- Build a fast, distributed query engine using Kotlin and Apache Calcite.
- Develop algorithms for parsing and transpiling an internal query language (MAQL) into SQL based on semantic data models.
- Design APIs and write high-quality, test-driven code.
- Shape product direction, technical solutions, best practices, and API design.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and Architecture in a product-focused engineering team.
- Take end-to-end ownership of backend features and contribute to scalable distributed architecture.

- Experience with object-oriented programming.
