Responsibilities

  • Translate ambiguous, research-driven needs into concrete engineering requirements and sequenced roadmaps.
  • Partner closely with engineering on a technical platform, including day-to-day prioritization and execution.
  • Own compliance-related product requirements, including data access, deletion, and privacy regulations.
  • Write requirements documents, roadmap updates, and risk escalations.
  • Manage stakeholders across research and engineering, including senior leaders, and navigate disagreement to decisions.
  • Build product processes in ambiguous environments while balancing process overhead.
  • Maintain high standards for fast, reliable, and compliant user experiences and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5–8+ years of product management experience.
  • Experience shipping developer-facing or research-facing products, such as APIs, platforms, or tools for technical users.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous needs into engineering requirements and roadmaps.
  • Experience partnering with engineering teams on technical platforms.
  • Interest in AI research, agentic systems, and scientific discovery.
  • Experience with compliance-related product requirements and privacy regulations.
  • Strong written communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with agent frameworks, LLM tooling, or orchestration platforms.
  • Experience with agent harnesses or evaluation frameworks.
  • Experience building or maintaining public-facing developer products, APIs, or benchmarks.
  • Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, and data privacy and governance.
  • Experience in a research organization, national lab, or academic environment.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary range: $115,920–$173,880.
