Build and scale production AI agent systems that orchestrate autonomous, multi-step enterprise workflows. The role requires strong Python and distributed-systems experience, familiarity with agent frameworks and cloud infrastructure, and some React and TypeScript experience.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure agent-driven services and systems that autonomously accomplish tasks using modern AI frameworks.
- Develop and enhance infrastructure and high-throughput APIs for agent capabilities including memory, communication channels, skills, intelligent decision logic, security, and workflow management.
- Integrate agent capabilities with backend services, data stores, vector databases, search and retrieval systems, and external APIs.
- Collaborate with product managers, AI researchers, data engineers, and UX teams to translate agent use cases into production-ready software.
- Ensure reliability, monitoring, and observability for agent components through metrics, logging, CI/CD, and fault tolerance.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and participate in code reviews.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 3+ years of production experience with Python.
- Daily experience using agentic coding tools such as Cursor and Claude Code.
- Experience building distributed systems, microservices, or complex backend APIs supporting AI or agent workflows.
- Expertise integrating AI models, agent frameworks, vector databases, and large-context reasoning services.
- Understanding of agent orchestration patterns, state management, and asynchronous workflows.
- Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and operational engineering practices.
- Knowledge of performance optimization, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience building AI agents that coordinate multi-step actions, reasoning, or autonomous decision-making loops.
Nice to have
- Contributions to open-source agent toolkits or SDKs.
- Experience with React and TypeScript for agent management interfaces.
