Own the technical post-sales relationship for cybersecurity customers, guiding deployment, integrations, troubleshooting, and long-term adoption. Responsibilities
- Own post-sales customer relationships from sales handoff through deployment and long-term adoption.
- Guide customers through production deployment, configuration, technical integrations, and adoption.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges using scripting and workflow automation.
- Connect Escape to customers’ existing engineering and security processes.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams.
- Lead onboarding, integrations, technical workshops, and customer follow-ups.
- Manage account plans covering customer objectives, adoption, risks, and next steps.
- Identify technical or adoption blockers, deeper use cases, and expansion opportunities.
- Travel for customer engagements, workshops, conferences, and company offsites.
Requirements
- Engineering degree in computer science, software engineering, cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of technical customer-facing experience in SaaS, cybersecurity, developer tools, or another deep-tech environment.
- Technical credibility with engineering leaders, developers, and application or platform security teams.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, integrations, modern development environments, AI, and penetration testing.
- Hands-on experience with scripting, troubleshooting, or workflow automation.
- Ability to investigate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong customer instincts and clear technical communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple customer priorities with strong follow-through.
- Ability to work autonomously from the NYC office and travel as needed.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in application security, DAST, API security, penetration testing, or vulnerability management.
- Previous experience as a software engineer, solutions engineer, technical consultant, or security engineer.
- Familiarity with GraphQL, REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, or developer tooling.
- Experience supporting enterprise customers through complex technical deployments.
- Experience contributing to renewals, expansions, or technical account plans.
