Responsibilities

  • Translate product strategy and roadmap initiatives into detailed feature requirements and user stories.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, UX, and QA to refine requirements, clarify business logic, and ensure development readiness.
  • Own and manage the team backlog, maintaining clear priorities aligned with business objectives.
  • Write epics, user stories, workflows, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead backlog refinement and support sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and defect triage.
  • Support developers during implementation by answering questions and clarifying requirements.
  • Identify delivery risks, dependencies, scope tradeoffs, requirement gaps, and edge cases.
  • Monitor development progress and proactively resolve issues affecting release timelines, scope, or quality.
  • Gather and synthesize input from Client Success, Services, and Sales into clear requirements.
  • Support user acceptance testing, release readiness, and post-release validation.
  • Improve backlog quality, delivery processes, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar delivery-focused product professional supporting Agile software teams.
  • Strong technical aptitude, including familiarity with APIs, data flows, system configurations, permissions models, and integration requirements.
  • Experience working with Agile Engineering teams in a SaaS, preferably B2B, software environment.
  • Strong experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and functional requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize a product backlog in a fast-paced Agile environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Understanding of software development concepts and processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
