About the role

Responsibilities

  • Create a vision for the Chime brand that translates into powerful and authentic storytelling that drives awareness/consideration
  • Develop and execute a creative vision for what our brand looks and feels like through integrated marketing campaigns, TV, activations, social campaigns, and partnerships across all channels
  • Champion bold ideas and creative approaches to telling Chime’s stories and more deeply connecting with Chime’s members
  • Oversee the end-to-end creative process, from concept development to final execution, ensuring alignment with the company's brand values and marketing objectives
  • Collaborate with marketing leads to create integrated campaigns that resonate with target audiences
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to a team of art directors, designers and copywriters, fostering an environment of creativity, innovation, and collaboration
  • Lead creative brainstorming sessions, providing clear guidance, feedback, and inspiration to generate impactful ideas
  • Manage relationships with external creative agencies, production houses, and media partners to ensure high-quality execution of campaigns
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure our creative work is fresh and relevant
  • Maintain a strong understanding of our consumer base, market trends, and competitor landscape to inform creative strategies

Requirements

  • 8+ years in creative leadership, with at least 5 years in a leadership position building brand-level work
  • Deep understanding of advanced AI tools to support the creative process
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Design, Copywriting or a related field
  • Proven experience working in a creative agency environment, with a strong portfolio of consumer-facing campaigns, including TV spots, digital, and partnership initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to develop creative concepts that drive engagement and brand loyalty
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and lead a small creative team
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas and concepts to stakeholders
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with external partners
