About the role

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the CEO as a thought partner on company-wide priorities, decision-making, and execution.
  • Maintain full context on key initiatives, hires, deals, risks, and ensure nothing slips.
  • Prepare for board meetings, leadership discussions, and high-stakes conversations.
  • Draft internal and external communications on behalf of the CEO.
  • Anticipate priorities, surface blockers, and help CEO stay focused.
  • Own and drive cross-functional initiatives across product, engineering, RCM, GTM, and operations.
  • Build systems to track, triage, and address important work.
  • Coordinate projects, cut inefficiencies, translate strategy into plans with goals, timelines, owners.
  • Unblock teams, resolve dependencies, maintain momentum.
  • Step into ambiguous problems and drive solutions.
  • Build and refine core operating rhythms (planning, goal-setting, meetings, retros).
  • Stand up company-wide goals, metrics, scorecards, and dashboards.
  • Identify needs for structure and design scalable systems.
  • Bring analytical rigor to prioritization using data and financial insight.
  • Jump into high-priority work, support senior hiring.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience, prior Chief of Staff preferred or similar roles (strategy & ops, consulting, investing, early-stage operator).
  • Strong generalist with analytical depth, financial models, metrics, data-informed decisions.
  • Thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Exceptional context switching between hiring, strategy, operations, execution.
  • Strong judgment, discretion, high-trust.
  • Exceptional communication in all mediums.
  • Operations and systems builder.

Compensation

Base pay: $175,000 – $210,000 per year.

Full-time role, NYC-based, in office ~3 days per week.
