Responsibilities
- Translate company-wide perception feature requirements into detailed data deliverables across vision, LiDAR, and other sensor modalities.
- Own the end-to-end labeling process, from data availability through training-ready outcomes.
- Direct data annotation partners and oversee vendor and managed service provider performance against quality, latency, and volume targets.
- Manage vendor allocation and budgets in alignment with milestone and release timelines.
- Define and maintain tracking for outcomes, risks, throughput, and data quality.
- Establish quality standards for deliverables and hold vendors accountable to them.
- Diagnose isolated labeling errors versus systemic process failures and address root causes.
- Translate product roadmaps and engineering requirements into operational execution plans with explicit resource and throughput models.
- Query databases using SQL to analyze throughput and quality metrics and generate reports independently.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management or operations strategy within technology, autonomous driving, or AI/ML.
- Experience translating product roadmaps and engineering requirements into detailed operational execution plans.
- Experience managing resource allocation and throughput for large-scale workflows.
- Experience overseeing large-scale vendor operations or managed service providers against quality, latency, and volume targets.
- Proficiency with SQL for querying databases, analyzing throughput metrics, and generating reports.
- Demonstrated ability to define quality standards and hold vendors accountable to them.
Nice-to-haves
- Background in autonomous vehicles, robotics, computer vision, or machine-learning model training.
- Experience in ML engineering, data engineering, or technical consulting.
- Track record of improving data quality or throughput at scale with measurable results.
- Familiarity with LiDAR, radar, camera, and thermal sensor modalities and their data annotation requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Compensation
- Base pay range: $132,000-$198,000 annually.
- Eligible for an annual performance bonus, equity, and competitive benefits.
