Responsibilities
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify opportunities and validate product hypotheses.
- Design rapid experiments and prototypes to define minimum viable products and mitigate risks.
- Analyze usage data and customer feedback after launch to guide iteration and product-market-fit decisions.
- Lead go/no-go decisions about scaling or pivoting products.
- Own the strategic roadmap and North Star metrics, balancing engineering, design, and business constraints.
- Identify and mitigate product risks and roadblocks.
- Lead cross-functional squads of engineers, designers, and data scientists without direct line management.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Finance on go-to-market strategy, pricing, positioning, and unit economics.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Product Management experience.
- At least 3 years focused on 0-to-1 product development, startup environments, or founding product management roles.
- Experience ideally in B2B SaaS or regulated industries such as FinTech, HRTech, or Healthcare.
- Strong understanding of Lean Startup methodologies, experiment design, and data instrumentation.
- Ability to collaborate with engineering teams, understand technical architectures, and evaluate technical trade-offs.
- Ability to participate in technical system architecture, product design, and software development lifecycle discussions.
- Understanding of AI/ML capabilities, limitations, and data requirements, including frontier LLMs and rule-based systems.
- Strong communication, storytelling, influence, and executive stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and undefined environments.
