Forward Deployed Software Engineer - Norwegian Government
The Forward Deployed Software Engineer works directly with customers to understand complex operational problems and build end-to-end, data-driven software solutions. The role requires strong software engineering skills, analytical problem-solving, independence, customer collaboration, Norwegian and English fluency, and eligibility for security clearance.

Requirements
- Strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
- Highly analytical mindset and eagerness to solve technical problems involving data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools.
- Experience or interest in using large-scale data to solve valuable business problems.
- Strong coding ability with proficiency in Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams in a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to continuously learn, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
- Security clearance or ability to obtain a clearance.
- Fluency in Norwegian and English.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed; 25–50% travel is preferred, depending on the team and location.
