Responsibilities
Test Automation and System Quality
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for server- and client-side systems using Java, TestNG, JUnit, and Selenium.
- Develop and execute end-to-end and system test plans against customer deployment patterns.
- Configure and manage automated tests, lab environments, and containerized test setups using Docker.
- Perform release validation for compatibility, availability, and uptime across weekly deployment cycles.
CI/CD Pipeline Maintenance and Optimization
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, and Buildkite.
- Manage Maven-based builds, dependency management, and automated release workflows.
- Write operational automation scripts using Python, Bash, or Groovy.
Observability, Monitoring, and Infrastructure
- Analyze application logs and observability metrics using Splunk, Sumo Logic, Kibana, or ELK.
- Use SQL to query databases and validate integrated backend scenarios.
- Provide occasional on-call support and debugging assistance to partner teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Quality Engineer or Software Engineer focused on SaaS products and release-based testing.
- 4+ years of Java-based test development with Selenium, TestNG, and JUnit.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Groovy scripting.
- Experience maintaining and debugging CI/CD pipelines, Maven dependency management, and Docker-based environments.
- 4+ years of writing SQL queries for data verification and system integration testing.
- Strong experience using Splunk, Kibana, or Sumo Logic to parse logs and trace failures.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Experience with Terraform or Ansible.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, mobile testing platforms such as Bitbar or Appium, or machine-learning-driven testing tools.
- Exposure to performance or security testing within CI pipelines.
